Cinema, Colonialism, Postcolonialism: Perspectives from the French and Francophone World by Dina Sherzer, In this first major study of French colonial colonial era and postcolonial cinema, Dina Sherzer compiles essays by some of the foremost scholars on the subject who interrogate colonial era and analyze the realities behind the images of the nation's past colonial era and present.
